Daylight running lights are now obligatory in the EU.

Since 2011, all new vehicles in the European Union have to be fitted with DRL (daylight running lights). The EU estimate that this will save between 1,200 and 2,000 road fatalities each year. Adding DRL as an aftermarket addition has both safety and styling benefits.

Is it legal to use?

The LED Daylight 8 aftermarket daylight running kit is fully road legal to use in Europe.

Will it fit my car?

The product will fit the majority of vehicles. We have added the most common vehicles into our vehicle database, so when you search for your car it will list whether the kit will fit. However, if your vehicle is not listed then it is still possible that the kit can be installed, but you'll need to check the front of your car to see whether the units will fit. Each unit has the following dimensions:

• 165mm wide
• 18mm high
• 35mm deep

To ensure road legality there needs to be a minimum of 600mm between the two LED units and each unit needs to be no more than 400mm from the left/right of the front of the vehicle.

Is it simple to install?

We recommend that a mechanic or auto-electrician install the kit. It usually takes less than two hours. Take a look at our video.
