A “longer lasting” blue light
A car driver would prefer to have daylight 24 hours a day. Daylight gives the best visibility. That is why Philips developed BlueVision lamps. BlueVision lamps are carlamps with a blue coating. This blue coating creates a daylight type of light (closer to Xenon).
The whitest light at up to 4000° Kelvin
The “brilliant white daylight” produced by our BlueVision lamps enhances roadsign and roadmarkings reflection. The “task” of driving at night suddenly becomes a “pleasure” as today’s drivers are less tired and able to better anticipate all driving challenges.

An excellent product if you're looking for a whiter light but also with that blue styling to oncoming traffic.

Philips Blue Vision H7, 03/02/2008
I bought a pair of these bulbs for my wif'e's 56 plate VW Polo. I was testing the water really as I was worried how these blue vision bulbs would make her car look. Much to my relief, I was very impressed on the improvement and appearence over the set of Philips standard Halogen bulbs, that were already fitted to the car from new. The blue vision bulbs are brighter, they provide a nice crisp white light appearence on the road. The headlight projection has been improved and they illuminate the nearside of the road nicely. I would recommend these to any one over standard halogens. I am so impressed I have just ordered a set of Philips X-Treme bulbs as replacement on my 07 plate Volvo S40.
