How do I return an item?

We hope you’ll be very happy with your new Car Bulbs Direct purchase. However, if for any reason you need to return the item, we've listed everything you’ll need to know right here.

Can I return my order?

Yes, you can return an item as long as it’s in an unopened, unused condition. Please inform us via email if you would like to make a return. If your return request is accepted you will need to return the item to us within 30 days. Returns after this time may not be accepted.

When you receive your item we always recommend that you check your existing bulbs before opening your new product to ensure you have the correct fitment.

If you've ordered the wrong type of bulb for your vehicle, you can return it to us within 30 days of dispatch.

We ask that you return the product in an unopened brand new condition. Please include your name and order number within the parcel.

How long do I have to return a product to you?

We accept returns within 30 days of the order being dispatched.

Any refunds will be completed within 30 days of cancellation of the contract.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes, if the item is returned to us unopened and unused we will happily exchange the item. Once we receive the original item back, we will dispatch the exchange item as soon as possible.

Will my returns cost be refunded?

We will only refund the postage costs if you return the bulbs to us because of an error on our part. Upon receipt of the returned item we will refund postage costs.

Can I return my order?

Under UK Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your contract and return your order or part there of within 30 days of dispatch.

If you wish to return your order, please inform us via email.
For technical and safety reasons we ask that all returns be in the same, unopened condition as they were sent in.
When we dispatch your products we clearly label them to ask you to check your existing bulbs before opening your new products to ensure you have the correct fitment/product. If this is not the case then please contact us first.

Will my return costs be refunded?

Return postage costs will only be refunded if you return the bulbs to us because of an error on our part. We will then refund your return postage costs upon return of the order.

How long do I have before returning a product to you?

Any refunds will be actioned within 30 days of cancellation of the contract. If any items are not returned in a fully saleable condition we reserve the right to charge a 20% re-stocking fee.

Exchanges will be actioned in 1-2 working days upon receipt of the original goods. Please note that returns can only be accepted within 30 days of the order being dispatched (UK) and 60 days for all orders outside of the UK.

Return requests made after this period of time will not be accepted. If your return request is accepted then you will need to return the products to us within 14 working days. Returns received after this time may not be accepted.
